Anna and Dane’s Beach Cottage Maternity Session
I had the extreme pleasure of photographing Anna’s adorable baby belly about a month before she gave birth to her sweet baby girl Sloane! She was born last week, and I absolutely can’t wait to get back to their adorable beach cottage to capture those fresh baby toes!
Anna and Dane were a pleasure to work with, and come on people…. aren’t they gorgeous?! I mean… its like story book status over here. The two of them are so obviously in love, and their tenderness with each other shone right through these photos! Even their cute puppy loved momma’s belly!
Anna was worried about maternity photos in the first place, having had seen so many scary images come across the internet, (#awkwardfamilyphoto) but I assured her that I would steer clear of the awkward!! When I arrived, I was instantly excited, because they live right on the beach in a tiny adobe style house, and they had a beautiful indian blanket and pillows out in the yard to help compliment their CACTUS! Yep… straight out of a fairy tale.
Anna and Dane almost instantly fell into a comfortable rhythm, and it was as if I wasn’t even there; before I could get the words out of my mouth, they were moving into the pose I had envisioned in my mind!
Check out these gorgeous shots, and keep your eyes peeled for baby Sloane coming to the blog!
Oh… How could she ever think that she’d be awkward!? I can’t wait to see pictures of baby Sloane’s tiny toes!
