Maternity photography is something that I think is SO important in the journey to parenthood. Capturing that short moment in time, right before you get to meet your new little baby, well… it’s nothing short of magical. Women are absolutely incredible beings, and documenting the beauty of pregnancy is so special, and necessary. For something that only happens once, sometimes a handful of times in your life, having images to look back on that accurately depict the beauty of you and your pregnancy is invaluable. Brooke was SOO much fun to do a maternity shoot with. I loved how she had me show off my belly and how well she captured scenes from our first house!
The only reason I took maternity pictures was because of Brooke. I felt tired and huge and the last thing I wanted to do was a photo shoot. After several talks with Brooke I decided to go for it and am so glad I did. After seeing the photos she took I finally saw what she had been seeing… One hot momma!
Capturing the experience of my first pregnancy was just that – a FIRST. I knew I could never do it again, once our boy was born. The pictures Brooke took of me and my little are something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I feel beautiful and womanly in her photos, and she has amazing ideas for highlighting how gorgeous the full pregnant body can be. I also felt comfortable being completely naked in front of her, which was a plus. There’s something incredibly raw and awe-inspiring about her work and I couldn’t recommend her any more.
We had so much fun on our photo shoot with Brooke. She made us feel at ease and was extremely professional. Even my husband, who was very apprehensive about getting his photo taken, left feeling great about our experience. The pictures came out beautifully- beyond anything I could have imagined! We love Brooke and look forward to working with her again in the future!!
